Second generation Low-E glass edging film

The second generation Low-E glass edging film adopts a composite structure of cloth base and aluminum coated polyester film, which greatly enhances its anti cutting and anti piercing ability, and greatly increases the strength of the substrate. However, due to the thin composite aluminum polyester layer, when the glass shifts during transportation, the peeling force of the composite layer is less than the shear force relative to the edge film caused by the glass shift, which can easily cause delamination between the aluminum polyester layer and the cloth base layer, resulting in the aluminum polyester and pressure-sensitive adhesive remaining on the glass together. It becomes more difficult to peel off Low-E glass when the aluminum plated film with a thickness of only 12 μ m needs to be removed.

The fabric based/aluminum coated polyester structure used in the second-generation Low-E glass edging film has a substrate elongation of 0%. When the edge is wrapped in a stationary state and then lifted onto a fixed frame in the warehouse or transport vehicle, the angle of the stacked glass on the fixed frame is not consistent with that in the stationary state, and the displacement between the glasses generates a pulling force on the edge wrapping film. However, the elongation rate of the second-generation Low-E glass edge wrapping film is 0%, which can easily cause the edge wrapping film to fall off on the Low-E glass and lose its sealing effect.
